Hailing from Cape Town, South Africa, most of Carmelita Mentor-Fredericks’ professional career has been spent in a daily/national newsroom covering general news, and lifestyle and entertainment content for digital and print. She’s also dabbled in education, marketing and social media management, and now finds herself in friendly Feilding, where she previously dotted i's and crossed t’s for Farmers Weekly and Dairy Farmer before taking up the role of digital editor. When she’s not spending time with her favourite people, she enjoys the outdoors, binge-watching TV shows, reading and getting creative in the kitchen.
